Genma managed to stop sobbing long enough to take a breath. He clung to Raidou, pulling him over on top of himself and tangling them both in a cargo net, and stared at him like he was a lost treasure.
"Raidou, we have to. Right now. Right this minute," he said between little gasps as he tried to master his emotions. "We should have gotten married two weeks ago only I couldn't find you and there was this road and Ibiki's in hell now, but he's still head of torture except I think it's for a smaller division, and anyway everyone is dead and can we please just go get married right now?"
He reached into a small knapsack he'd been wearing, a nondescript thing of weather-worn brown leather, and pulled out not just pants but a full set of Konoha jounin blues, complete with vest, weapons and hitai-ate. "Here. Pants. Now married? Now? It's important!"
