Helena, that was the woman Raidou was hugging, gave Iruka a level stare. The fact that her eyes consisted of iris and pupil made it more level than most.
"Genma? Ah, Raidou's other half," She considered, stepping back. "He walked by, last night, with a bag of fruit. I remeber because he showed up on our chalkboard as 'Raidou's other half, Genma, do not self him things' and I thought that was quite odd but Mercutio said you'd made a deal?" She said in a voice that was absolutely nothing like a roar or the scream of the wind at very high speeds.
It was a mellow warm toast voice, if anything. Maybe with tea.
And oh, Helena thought, but her dear sister was right. The new puppy-man DID have bits of otherworld travel on him.
Like sprinkles.
She did spare a moment to give Raidou's head a pat. "Don't worry, sweetheart, he's not dead because the price to get him back now's only a leg and your vowels. Which is something you would have to talk to Mercutio for, which you can't because the boys like their intestines where they are."
"But WHERE?" Raidou said, even as a weight lifted. Alive was good. Could work with alive. "And when will they be open for business?"
What? he got along okay with one peg. Two couldn't be THAT much harder, right? And Genma knew wood working.
His next peg would be better. They'd match.
"Carved claws holding, balls, maybe, like pool table legs," he mumbled.
Helena arched an eyebrow. "Maybe, maybe you should sit and have a cup of tea, Raidou," He twitched her head at her sister, and Raidou found his arm trapped by silvery naked female.
Hermia reached out, caught Iruka's arm as well. "Come come. Tea for both of you,"
