It was just the eyes, really. Lorne had almost the same look in them Genma'd had before curling up into the fetal position and having a panic attack about seagulls.
"You'll be safe in here, alright?" He gave a sad sort of smile, but at least it didn't give anyone the impression that he was about to chew their faces off.
Faces didn't taste good anyway.

Though the docks were shady enough, he might have eaten a lazy sailor and just not known. That was a frightening sort of thought.
Raidou snapped his head, and eyes, back to Iruka. "Genma's late. He's really, really late," he repeated. "I'm giving him half an hour."
He checked his straps again and hopped down. Didn't wince. It was a bad stump day and his missing foot had itchy toes.
