Two wins in a row. Riley was on a natural high and her adrenaline was pumping enough for her to want to head back out to the Quidditch pitch she'd been on before coming here. She'd been on the pitch for hours today, practicing her moves until she had them down to perfection. There was a lot riding on the Harpies game, especially since Puddlemere United was in third place at the moment. With two matches coming up, Riley was trying to keep herself sharp in order to keep them up there, if not push them further to the top. Riley wanted first place so much she could taste it. Even to just hold it for a season would be an accomplishment. And with all the work she was doing, it was amazing she hadn't killed herself yet. But that was Riley. She was focused, she was persistent, she took the risks no one else would. Because that was just how it was. You had to push the boundaries to become the best. But after a few hours, she'd showered, changed into regular clothes, and gone looking for food. Which was why she was currently sitting at the Three Broomsticks with her bag in the seat beside her and a menu in her hand. She knew what they had, she just wasn't sure what she wanted. After some thought, she decided on a salad, pork chops, a couple of sandwiches with tea to drink. It was a lot, but a girl had to keep her energy and carbs up if she trained as much as Riley did. And she had no problems keeping her figure with all the moving she did. She also thought a girl should eat. Period. Those kinds of girls that picked at their food like a bird irritated her. That was just how it was. As she waited for her food to come, she pulled out her newest book and began to read. There were many things to be done after lunch, but for now, she could eat, drink and read. And that was going to pretty much be her down time until she sunk into a bath later... if she made it that far. Merlin knew if DJ came over there probably would be no downtime. Not that that was something Riley minded. It helped... keep her figure. |
