Navigating through this maze of a city might be too big of a task for Satori Tendou. No, that was a lie. No task was too big, no spike too hard to block, he'd figure this out. At least, as far as he thought so. The second he'd woken up and seen the message from Riley he knew he had to get to him as soon as possible.
Even though that supposedly, the Compassion Guild's headquarters was a straight shot from Freedom's, the map was laid out like an amusement park's. Lots of bright colorful drawings where things were, plenty of notes saying 'go here!' or 'eat here!'. Most of it was easy to follow. The landmarks made for quick decision making. But with the crowds of people, performers, and multiple other things, it made it near impossible to tell where he was going. Not to mention having to go off course to cross a bridge. He made a detour about three separate times, and thanks to quick reading of body language; Tendou avoided possible impacts with people.
I'm coming. I'm coming.
Tendou dropped into an alleyway to text Riley back, then tucked his phone back into his pocket. Squinting the map, he should be coming up on the Compassion Guild's place any time now. As if he hadn't already been out for an hour. As he neared, he encountered a nearby stand that was selling chocolate covered strawberries. With the money already transferred over from Eerie Harbor (and some from home as well, not as though Tendou was anywhere near overly wealthy), he purchased a dozen. Riley likes strawberries. And when things were the worst, chocolate always helped. At least it helped Tendou in his time of need.
I know he's feeling. It had just been like his first jump between worlds. The loneliness. The several nights awake and alone wondering why me. Riley was a good guy, one of the best he'd ever met. He didn't want him going through this alone. I'm going to be there. I need to see him.
Asking around the guild hall, Satori followed their directions to the common rooms, and from there, the dorm-like living arrangements. Despite the aesthetic changes and slight coloration differences, it was setup similar to how Freedom's was. He ran through the hallways, counting down each room number. 207...208... Until he finally reached it.
"209." Satori breathed allowed, letting himself catch his breath. Box of treats in one hand, he lifted his free palm up to leave a soft knock at the door. "Hey RileyRiley! It's me, Tendou. Are you there?"
