Who: Bonnie & Open! What: Familiar spaces? When: Sunday July 11th Where: Fright's Arcade Status: Ongoing, Open Warnings: TBD, Minor lore spoilers for fnaf? It's the names of some of the kid's souls so you be the judge, Bonnie head canons,
Seeing the arcade had made him double take. He hadn't seen it in years. No way it was here. Pushing open the doors, it was just like he remembered it, but so vastly different. He couldn't stop the smile spreading on his face, there was no pain here. Not like back home, he couldn't hear the groaning, the creaking of joints, and there was no parts and service for him to be stuck in. People here were having fun, playing games, and laughing. It was like when he was live. The best part? He had two arms this time.
Bonnie excitedly dash to the counter and was practically vibrating when the attendant asked him if he wanted a fun card for the arcade. "Totally! This place is da bomb!" He handed over some money he'd gotten from collecting cacti fruit. Not sleeping had it's advantages sometimes. Bonnie turned the card over in his hands. He'd spent so long just taking one from behind the prize counter, saying hello to Charlie while he did so. She spent most of her time by herself in her box, but she wandered from time to time. Sometimes she'd watch him play games. This time he was all by himself, but that wasn't bad.
Bonnie stalked the arcade, looking at all the machines, he recognized a lot of them. Well... what they were, fighting games, claw machines, pinball, skee-ball, racing games, but the actual games he didn't know. Huh... I guess it's all new titles in a new world then? He shrugged and got started with a claw machine. He stuck his card in and the game came to life. A smile spread across his face as he was shot back to the 80s, playing the games in the dark arcade at Fazbear's. He took his time picking out his prize and angling the claw there were some really cute plushies in here, so it took him a while. Eventually he settled on a purple ram because it was in a good position. He moved hit the button and watched the claw sink down, collapsing over the plush. One of the claw's arms got hooked on the horns and pulled it up. "Yes!" Bonnie jumped joyfully, truly completing his bunny aesthetic.
About an hour or so later, and a few more games, Bonnie was standing in front of a key master, scouting out the prizes. It was a little different this time, as he didn't really have a need for most of them, but he wanted to play it anyway. On the ground next to him was the ram he'd won earlier, a medium sized orange tabby cat plush, a silly looking plastic alligator, and an insane amount of tickets. Bonnie scanned carefully over the prizes, thinking carefully to himself about which ones are even available for that day. However, the feeling of eyes cut his thoughts short. Bonnie quickly turned to look at who was standing near him. He didn't recognize them at all, but he sort of expected that. "Hey! Did you want to use the Key Master too? Sorry I promise I'll be done in a second! I'm just trying to figure which one to go for." He smiled, and turned to the game. With someone watching he quickened his decision making and went for a gift card. The key lined up with the opening and went in perfectly, pulling the gift card. Bonnie smiled back at the person, "Sick! I won!" He smiled, hoping to share the excitement with them. He grabbed the gift card from the machine and looked it over, Hmm? Oh dang this is the ice cream gift card. His excitement was dampened, there had been two gift cards that looked similar. One was for the arcade and the other for an ice cream shop. He'd gotten the wrong one.
"Hey, I can't have ice cream, you want this? I totally went for the wrong one!" He held out the gift card.
