Natasha knew that Tony trusted her about as far as he could throw her without the Ironman suit on, but that was alright by her. She was used to people not trusting her, it was just something that she had decided long ago came with the territory of being who she was. Granted, she didn't always like it, but she'd deal with it just like she dealt with everything else. However, none of that had really stopped her from protesting a bit when Fury ordered her down here to see Tony. But Fury would never know that, though, somehow she was pretty sure that Fury knew everything about everything.
Of course this little assignment to make sure that things were in order, also came with a few days of leave. Well, forced leave. She hadn't taken a vacation in a very long time, and it was 'in her best interest' to rest after clearing up a little matter in South Africa for S.H.I.E.L.D and a few very angry mutants. Yeah, that had been fun. Except not at all. Let's just say that she had walked out of there with more than one future 'scar story'. But, hey, a little time with Tony and down in Florida, she'd take that over her last mission. Even if she'd be hard pressed to ever admit that out loud to anyone, ever.
"You know, I do have better things to do besides babysit you all the time Stark." she said crossing her arms over her chest as she walked into the room, half teasing him, half not. All because Natasha had to put up that front. It was just better that way, or so she'd convinced herself after all of these years.
