As much as I would like to think this is a particularly elaborate joke by a certain individual with a questionable sense of humor, the people here seem to be serious when they say that we can't return home and that leaving the city would be ill-advised because of the dangers we would encounter.

Would anyone care to clarify what the point of all of this is?

I've been asking myself that question, and I've been here for three months already.

But yeah. Leaving the city would be bad. Because of the dinosaurs. Generally, they can't get in here, but they have before. I've seen people get eaten right in front of me. It's terrible.

Sorry, I'm rambling a little bit.

I'm Felicity Smoak. Do you need anything?

Well, at the very least, we're not all coming into this in one foul swoop, blind to any of the dangers or complications that might arise. And watching someone die is never especially pleasant, particularly when it's so gruesome. Most people are lucky to never have to deal with such an event, and I am sorry that's no longer true for you, if it was before.

Peggy Carter. And I think I have what I need to manage so far. The rest, I can figure out.

I've noticed that it comes in waves. Sometimes displaced people show up one at time, sometimes it hits in a wave, like it did when I first arrived here.

Interesting. Regularity should, at least, make things easier to manage. Are there any warning sings that have been detected yet, or is it still a relative surprise when someone arrives?

Supreme powers never have a logical point behind what they do. It's always a game, or some narrow-minded, selfish plot.

I've only experience with self-professed 'supreme powers' without any real authority. Their games and plots are easily toppled with the right actions. I imagine this isn't going to be as simple.

I'm afraid you have me at a bit of a disadvantage, my dear.

I'm Dai Skye. I'm a SHIELD agent back home. A little after your time. But I've heard a lot about you. You were awesome. Or, I mean, you are awesome.

I'm glad to see my reputation proceeds me. It's good to meet you, Skye. If you don't mind me asking, how little after are we talking?
