Eight months. I've stayed silent for eight months with you. Trip, Hunter, Morse. None of them issues a no talking order. Trip's actually being a decent fucking human being about things. But that's not surprising. He was always the best of everyone. But I have said absolutely nothing to you since you told me not to.

And that was you needing to talk to someone who had absolutely no reason to humor you as far as what you'd done. Why would I have to spare your feelings if I had a reason to say you were entirely at fault? Not that you were. Even a blind idiot could see that.

And you really don't get it at all. You think any of this is about me. That any of it ever has been...
