I still haven't had a chance to learn all the in's and out's of this place. Does anyone know if there's a place where you can dance. Like us old-timers used to, I mean. Are dance halls still a thing or is it all clubs now?

I'm kind of awful at hiding my hand here, but I'm pretty sure I remember it being someone's birthday today. And I'm also pretty sure I owe her a dance.

I think a nightclub would be your only option. But if you ask nicely, they might turn down the music, turn up the lights, and put on something more era appropriate.

I thought so, but it was worth a shot. I like a lot of modern amenities, but the dance floor leaves a lot to be desired. You can't hear yourself think in most of those places.

If all else fails, I guess I have a radio in my apartment.

Generally speaking, proper dance halls do still exist. They just don't have one here. And they're more popular in Europe anymore than they are the US.

That works. Definitely more intimate.

No. They have a club. It's loud and has seventeen easily identified sniper perches. The music sounds like all the noise in the world got recorded and put onto beats. Kind of fun.

Not really. I thought I'd just try winging it for the cause.

Wasn't planning on bringing along a sniper for this one. Nothing personal, Buck. That also sounds like exactly the opposite of fun and more like my ears might bleed.
