There wasn't even a body left.

And Vex died again. We got her back, but she still died, and eventually her luck is going to run out. And I can't. I can't lose them both.

Especially not when it's my fault. I'm the reason why this is happening.

Despite what you might think, Percy, you are not responsible for all of the ills that have befallen us. We've just had some really bad luck sometimes. Or been really stupid. Occasionally both at the same time.

We can't control that, Percy. We just have to hope that we'll figure out a way to get him back.

One of the reasons I never really went for a long-lasting one.
