I just heard howling and I think I'm being followed by something. I thought this would be a safer way to get help than making a call and tipping off whatever it is that I'm on to them.

I'm suiting up to head out now and look for people who might be in trouble. If you can get a location and reroute me, I'll do what I can to get there and get 'em back. Assuming we have some kind of plan for handling this? Please tell me there's a plan

Remind me never to complain about boring holidays again please.

Like I told Felicity I'm between the University and my flat. I'm still walking as I thought it was better to remain calm and not run.

And I don't think you complaining about boring holidays has anything to do with any of what is happening right now.

Will. I think it's a wolf or a really big dog. I haven't really seen anything but the howling was a bit of a clue.

Maybe it was just signaling to the pack. Zoology was never one of my strengths, but they do that harmlessly, right?

Wild wolves do but after seeing mentions of vampires I'm not entirely sure this is just a wolf.

Grab whatever is he most lethal near you. Sharp or heavy. And find somewhere back in the shadows to hide until it comes into view. Attack the ankles and knees to bring it down. Then either slit, stab, or bludgeon until it stops moving.

As long as you have the element of surprise, you can hold your own.

Of course you'd suggest that.

I'm armed, sort of. I'm not hiding from this thing. Whatever it is I think it's a predator so it'll know where I am even if it's dark. I'd prefer not to be mauled because I tried to take it on single handed.

It might not give you the option. Better to attack it before it attacks you. Be quick, brutal, don't give it time to react, and you'll be fine.
