You know, this reminds me of the time a hole in space-time ripped open in the middle of a PTA meeting, unleashing a horde of screaming, terrified, murderous pterodactyls on a horde of screaming, terrified, murderous parents and faculty.
That said, I'm not sure how I feel about this pocket dimension. I liked the last one. It was charming and comfortable and I had grown very used to it. But this one certainly has its interesting features. Like the looming sense of existential dread. And the looming sense of nearby dinosaurs. And the small, organic coffee shops, with their small, organic coffees and small, organic employees. And change can be a good thing. A vital thing, even. It's like President John F. Kennedy once said. "Change is the law of life. If you do not change, you are breaking the law and you will be forcibly detained and reprogrammed."
Has anyone seen a perfect, wonderful and handsome man by the name of Carlos? He is a scientist, so you likely would have seen him wandering around writing down numbers and things and muttering to himself about science. Or possibly trying to do science to a dinosaur.
