Vax was tentative yet supportive, carefully gauging just how much contact she needed depending upon her reactions. He wasn't exactly the greatest at reading people, but he knew enough to be able to tell when someone needed a bit of support, and being on her own for so long, he could only imagine how she felt having someone else there and present.
"It's the least I could do," Vax said, measuring his words carefully. "I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if we'd just left you here in this room. It's awfully bleak," He said with a slight smile. "And I don't think anyone really factored in the potential that someone couldn't get out on their own."
Vax offered her a sympathetic look, giving her arm a little squeeze, "You're not going to die. There's not many doctors here, but there's enough that I think we can compensate for what you've been through. Healing magic only does so much."
