Part of him knew that he probably shouldn't be falling back into his old feelings, but he couldn't help it. Something about Eobard pulled at parts of him he had thought were buried. As smart as he was, he knew he could be really stupid when it came to his emotions.
Which was probably why, as the hug came to its natural conclusion, he found himself leaning up the few inches between their heights to press his lips to Eobard's. Yeah. He could be really, really stupid.
