His hand itched to reach out and touch Mick but Ray wasn't so sure that was a good idea. "I can't even tell you to talk this out with Snart because... you probably already have." The two older men shared a sort of connection where Ray could see them discussing things like this. Arguing over it. Both sides too stubborn to let up or to allow themselves to see the logic in each argument. To work out a compromise. "I'm not going to defend Cisco's character and tell you that people like him, like Barry, like me try to save everyone regardless of past feelings or whether or not we like someone." Maybe he was defending Cisco a little. Ray was, undoubtedly, cut from a different cloth that Cisco and Barry but the design was the same. When push came to shove they were the hero types. Snart was their ally. He was a lot more than that to Barry. Cisco wouldn't throw Snart under the bus to save his own skin. He wouldn't leave the other to die either. "I know there's more going on here that you can't tell me. That's fine. I understand. I also know that you're going to do what you need to do in order to be there for Snart when he needs you to be. Whether he wants you to or not. Whether he realizes he needs you to or not. So... what do you have to do?"
He did reach out and put an arm on Mick's shoulder then, hoping enough had gotten through that Mick didn't react to him as an enemy. The best idea was to try and rally Mick into action. To try and get him to focus on what he needed to do. What he could do in order to be prepared whenever Snart went into this fight. Ray didn't say it but he was willing to help Mick in whatever way he could.
