As Len moved to get more comfortable against Mick's side, Mick toed off his heavy boots, kicking them off to the side of the couch. Ashes stirred a little from the movement, but not by much. It felt nice to just have Len in his space again. He'd missed that. Mick wasn't insecure in thinking Len didn't want him around, but he wasn't sure to what capacity anymore. He had a life here with Barry, lived with him, was openly out and together with him. All things he and Len hadn't really worked out, despite their years together. Mick didn't want to impose on that, and was still trying to figure out how and where everyone all fit. It was like a confusing puzzle in his mind, where some of the pieces connected together, and some were only connected through other pieces. Feeling very much like a corner piece these days. Which honestly suited him just fine, as long as he was part of the puzzle. God he hated puzzles.
"Lucipurr?" Mick repeated with a low chuckle. "Sounds like you have a lisp when you say it." He told him, though he was secretly amused by the choice of names. "Great, now we're setting up play dates. This is one step away from that picked fence, Len." Mick teased further, agreeing easily to Len's deal, even though they both knew it was no more than just talk. He hadn't been able to kill Len when he'd thought he'd hated him, there was no way he'd be able to kill him now. Even if there was, what would be the point? He smiled at the other comment. "That isn't anything new." Mick told him, seeing as he had always tinkered around with car part even before getting this job. Not to mention gas and oil just sort of went hand in hand with the arsonist. "Besides, you know you love it." He teased, shifting his arm that Len was leaning against so that he could wrap it around Len's shoulders, running his fingers playfully across his face, giving him a stronger scent of the small on his fingers.
Before the other had too much time to complain, he tipped Len's chin up so that he could capture his lips in a slow yet demanding kiss. It didn't last for more than a few moments, pulling back with a rather content look on his face. "Stay here tonight?" Mick asked, settling his arm behind Len's back to curl around his side, in turn pulling him in closer. He was rather tired himself from his days work, so getting up to wash right now wasn't very high on his list. Especially with how good the weight of Len's body felt leaned up against his own. The question a mix of wanting Len's company, as well as his help with the kitten's first night in his apartment. Cause yes, he was slightly worried about that.
