It was an interesting position to be in and not one that was entirely new, his body bouncing off of a bunch of random buildings as he was dragged along against his will. That thing that Thawne hadn't been able to put his finger on earlier was now hitting him (quite literally) with just how obvious it was. Barry was stronger, faster, far more honed than he had been. Just how far out in the timeline was he? Barry was physically unchanged, but given that he'd already hit the peak of puberty when the particular accelerator explosion had happened, this could have been anywhere from a few months to ten years out.
He didn't quite look like the Flash of the legends that he'd first heard, though. Any of the records, images, so it couldn't have been that long. But either way, Barry knew far more of what he was doing now. And that meant that he couldn't just rely on brute force.
Having gone limp during Barry's assault, the impacts against his body were minimal, bruising and soft tissue damage that refused itself quickly. As soon as his arm that had broken earlier was reknitted, though, relaxing into the assault stopped, his body turning and grasping Barry by the neck, using the momentum that Barry had already built up against him, forcing his body in the opposite direction, twisting away from the building and lifting, launching Barry into the air.
With any luck, Barry would land hard enough to make up for his initial hesitation.
