"I wish you wouldn't toss the 'g' word around. It's a real mood killer." Deny it to the last. That was his motto of choice. His skewed code of conduct hadn't changed just because he was suddenly palling around with people with disgusting amounts of moral fiber. But admittedly, he was slacking in the bad department, of late. He needed to steal something, probably. Soon. Eventually. But there were more pressing matters for the moment. Like how appealing the kid's lips were when they twisted up in that dopey smile, for example. He wasn't one for the 'l' word but he knew the signs all the same. It didn't spark anything like jealousy in him either. Attraction and love were two very different things.
"Mind if I make out with your boyfriend, West? He's been lobbing the bad puns at me all afternoon. It's a turn on, what can I say?" He cocked his head in her direction, and despite the snark, the question was legitimate. He didn't doubt that Barry's assertions about what was alright were true. Not with Iris' reaction being so tame but sharing was one thing. Sharing and watching were another. Not everybody was into that and he could respect that.
He just really hoped someone answered soon because sooner or later his back was going to start killing him. (He'd die before admitting it though.)
