Hi, guys!

We have our first plot!

So, as everyone already knows, the city has a magical barrier around it that keeps the citizens in and the dinosaurs out, in the jungle and the surrounding ocean where they belong. This morning, however, when your characters wake up, and they go outside, they'll notice something drastically different. Raptors are roaming the streets, pterodactyls are soaring through the sky, and maybe they'll see a tyrannosaurus rex making its way towards one of the local parks.

Yes, the barrier, which protects and keeps people safe, is down. At about one o'clock in the morning, the arrival of one Antoine Triplett upset Skye, and the overwhelming emotions caused her to temporarily lose control of her powers, breaking the barrier. So yes, characters would've felt an earthquake sometime late last night. Most of the buildings were spared, but there is some visible damage.

Luckily, Claire was able to call Emma in time for them to repair barrier. Unfortunately, in the time that it took them to do that, some dinosaurs got into the city. Not a lot - there are not eighty million tyrannosaurus rex in the city, there's two - but there's are just enough to cause havoc for people. Currently, there are a couple of packs of about four or five raptors, two tyrannosaurus, a flock of about eight pterodactyls, a mosasaurus in the bay, and some friendly non-eating dinosaurs, like a brachiosaurus and triceratops to balance out the meat eating ones.

Characters are encourage to advise caution when they go out, and protect themselves while a solution is worked on to get the dinosaurs out of the city. If players wish, they can injure their characters, or have them killed. Any characters that are killed off will return when the plot wraps up, but players are encourage not to kill off all of their characters, as then you'd be unable to do anything for the duration of the plot, and that's not fun for anyone.

This plot is going to last for two weeks, so on Wednesday, September 2nd, the dinosaurs will either leave, or have all been rounded up and taken care of at that point. Any new character that arrives within that time will be warned that the barrier is currently down, and to advise caution when leaving City Hall.
