I mean I've been a person for almost 27 years and I still don't really know how to take things slow or be patient? I got pretty good at learning how to [...] keep some of it inside, I guess, but a lot of that came from some bad people being real jerks about a lot of things. And those jerks just kind of made me want to.. be less patient. Because why be less of yourself just to make somebody else comfortable, you know?
I think your first couple loves are always going to be like that. And I don't know if it actually goes away, or if you just find new ones to kind of paint over the old one. But if it means a lot to you, you should let it mean a lot to you. Being new doesn't automatically make it too much, I don't think?
Oh, okay. But they're like... people, just not like. Human.
