So. Other than magic experiments and

Day drinking, I guess

What is there to do around here? Never was a uni man myself, not sure what to really expect.

Not that you're not proper cute, but. Bet I'd be going a bit mad, not able to talk for that long?

Might be a break for everyone else, come to think of it.

Suppose we could find more ways to help out around here?

Or I'm sure we could find other ways to entertain ourselves.

That's part of it, I suppose. I'm not really sure what needs doing. It's not exactly like this place has a visitor problem. George has the kitchens. Don't seem to be that many new arrivals to help show round.

What sort of entertainment are you thinking?

Have you looked at those sign-ups yet? I offered to help with medical and the armory. We could see what they have, figure out what's needed?

I hadn't quite gotten that far. There's a library. Steve found movies. We could go bug George in the kitchens. I'm pretty sure we could find things to do.

Sign-ups... I'm going to say no. But: medical I could likely help with, and. This place has got an armory?

They've got movies in this place? Brilliant. That could be. Fun.

Yeah, I figured nobody else had signed up at all and I could hep with first aid at the very least. Suppose I could read up on anything more. And I dunno if they have an armory set up yet, but I figured I'd ask around, see what's what.

I guess there's a stash of dvds up on the third floor?

Or day drink, Lockwood.

I think 'bug' meant more like 'visit', George.

And I won't. You know.

Why we're talking about options, isn't it?

I suppose the question then is what you mean by to do. I can offer some options, but I offer warning that I was raised with certain expectations to find comfort in stillness.

Well, my partner made the point that we're pretty aces at first aid, and weapon organization, so starting off with that sign-up sheet and things to do doesn't seem like a bad option.

But more just: hobbies, I guess? Things you do for fun? I haven't really had free time before. Which sounds mad to say, but it's kind of true.

Never doubt the importance of such matters. They matter more than you think.

It is not mad to say, as I come from an Order that simply did not encourage either hobbies or what many people would call fun. I discovered what I enjoyed on my own, and many of my ilk would consider them less than suited.

But if you like card games, I have not had a good game in quite some time. As for the other ways I keep myself occupied, I tend to meditate and train.

I've spent most of my life in colleges, but they weren't anything like this. More lectures on international trade practices and fancy dinners to impress donors. Less giant clouds that eat people.
