When they first reach the sand, they'll see this sign: It's up to them if they want to take their shoes off or not. Attached to the sign is a smaller one assuring guests that warming charms have been cast around the area to keep it a beautifully warm temperature. Down on the beach, Teddy waits for his bride with his best man, Drew Flint. The guests mill around, chatting while they wait for the bride. Around Teddy and Drew is a large circle drawn in the sand approximately 3 metres from the groom who waits in the centre to indicate where the guests should stand. A few minutes after the appointed time, the bride's family exit the cottage. Fleur walks down first and is soon followed by Domi. Finally, Bill and Victoire leave the house and make their way down the beach to Teddy. Victoire joins Teddy in the middle of the circle, with Domi by her side, and her father joins her mother on the edge of the circle. The celebrant steps forward and begins the ceremony [which will be played below]. At the end of the ceremony, it is announced that there will be food and drinks over at the reception are of the beach, and the new Mr and Mrs Lupin and their attendants will be back once they have taken some photographs. Finger food circulated on trays all night, ensuring everyone was fed. (This is not the only food that was available but just an example of what was there.) top left - rice crusted with sesame seeds with tuna on top. top right - individual cones of fish and chips. bottom left - french toast with maple syrup. bottom right - individual shot glasses of a variety of hot and cold soups. The cake was made by Louis and is absolutely delicious! The music was a great mix of new and old, and a portion of the sand was charmed into a hard dancing floor. When guests decided to go home, they had to head back to the apparition point if they were apparating, and on the way the last sign had changed to say: The following day, Teddy and Victoire portkeyed to their honeymoon destination for two whole weeks of (naked) nothingness! |
