The food on the stove was nearly finished reheating and Ginny was summoning some plates and glasses from the cabinet when the knock came. Neville always did have excellent timing. Considering the mess that was sure to follow her foray into social justice, she did feel empowered. She felt like she'd actually done something that mattered, even if it was small and even if it didn't end in an immediate change. They were seen and heard, despite the knights' best efforts, and people were having conversations all over the journals about it. That had definitely been part of the goal. She was ready to call the whole thing a win.
Ginny moved to answer the door, perhaps a little more slowly than she might've done had she not slept in a holding cell.
"Have you not brought Nanny Finnegan with you? I suspect he won't be thrilled with you visiting a hardened criminal." The redhead teased as she let Neville inside.
