Backdated. Hogsmeade- Open to Rodolphus
Who: Bellatrix, Rodolphus. What: Bella catches up with Rodolphus. When: December 15th, Saturday. After Bella meets with her sisters. Where: Outskirts of Hogsmeade, near the Shrieking Shack.
After leaving Narcissa and Andromeda, Bella made her way toward the Shrieking Shack. She didn’t want to remain cooped up in that small little pub, after all.
Bella did not remove the hood of her cloak until reaching the Shack’s rickety fence. Noting that there was not a soul (well person, at least) in sight, she tilted her head back, allowing the hood to fall back and gather around her neck. Snowflakes drifted lazily down to her dark hair, causing it to glisten.
She placed her pale hands on the fence, perhaps a little carelessly for it looked as though the wood splintered here and there. However, Bella was either oblivious to the irritation or embracing it as she waited once more.
Rodolphus was younger than her by two or three years, she had honestly forgotten. Bella’s parents had set up an arranged marriage with the Lestrange’s, therefore uniting some of the purest, most ancient blood. When Bella was younger, she rebelled against the engagement, when blood meant nothing in her young eyes. When nothing mattered in her eyes but freedom. Over the years, when she began to appreciate her blood and being, she grew to accept the situation. She didn’t mind marrying someone who would only make her stronger, who’s title was perhaps slightly greater than her own surname. Plus, what was love in Bella’s eyes? Perhaps the Dark Lord. Perhaps.
So she waited for Rodolphus Lestrange. The tryst would perhaps prove entertaining. He was handsome and charming, being a pureblooded aristocrat. And Bella was quite the dark beauty herself. Also, he showed interest in the Dark Lord. That was always good.
Bella gazed through the falling snow toward the Shrieking Shack, too absorbed in her own thoughts to hear someone approach her.
