Ted was just not much of a partier. He much preferred the quieter sort of get-togethers, with much less alcohol and much more clothing, thanks. Besides, Daisy was going to be there, in minimal clothing and on the prowl, and in Ted's opinion, she just got downright scary when she was flirty. It wasn't his sort of crowd that would be there, anyway.
However, it was rather lonely in the common room without a good chunk of the upper years there. Ted wandered out of the common room and down the corridor, pausing at the portrait leading to the kitchens when his stomach rumbled on cue. Shrugging, he tickled the pear and stepped into the kitchens, immediately finding several house elves underfoot. Ted apparently wasn't the only one hungry; he grinned upon finding he'd been beaten to the kitchens.
