Alice should have started her homework, that would have been a productive use of her time. That being said, Alice was sitting by the lake, books and papers spread out next to her. Which in theory is nice, except for the fact that the books and papers were going unnoticed as Alice sat by the edge of the late, skipping rocks.
She grasped the rock in her hand and chucked it out over the late. One. Two. Three skips, she was getting better. Why more people didn't skip rocks beyond her, after all throwing things at full strength out into the water was a good stress relief.
