WHO: Bridget and Wilkes
WHEN: Friday, dinnertime
WHERE: Ravenclaw
WHAT: A rendez-vous, which Wilkes happens to have high hopes for.

Wilkes climbed the winding stairs of Ravenclaw Tower two by two until he found himself face to face with the bronze eagle knocker. He let out a heavy sigh. He hated this stupid thing. Trust Ravenclaws to come up with an entrance method that required them to be even more incredibly pretentious than they already were.

"In wizarding photographs, what determines the subject's movements?" He rolled his eyes. Who fucking cared? Wilkes was a very straightforward guy, but luckily for him, he also reigned supreme when it came to the art of bullshit.

"The camera captures the situation, not the scene." The door opened for him, and he raised his eyebrows, amused. What a crock.

Ravenclaw was admittedly a lot more cheerful than Slytherin's dungeon common rooms, without all the annoying yellow of Hufflepuff's commons or the annoying Gryffindors in Gryffindor's commons. As Bridget promised, the place was deserted, it being dinnertime and all.

Who: Lily and Sirius
What: A walk and some sharing
Where: Outside
When: Jan 25, evening before rounds
Why: To clear her mind before rounds
Rating: PG
Status: In Progress

Lily felt the best that she had in a while, despite the news she had recently gotten about James saying things about her to Frank and goodness knows who else behind her back. It seemed like just the thing she needed to get James out of her mind, at least in the aspect he had been in lately. When she thought of him now, she didn't feel the stomach turning over and a smile didn't cross her face.

She liked to think of herself as quite sensible. The mere fact that she cried when James told her was seeing Charity, well... there was nothing insensible about that. He just couldn't understand where she was coming from emotionally. She suspected he didn't want to anymore. But now it was too late. Friendship required trust, and the minute a 'friend' decided to talk about her, that was the end of the trusting.

Humming happily to herself, she stopped at one of the trees at the edge of the water and leaned against it. The Squid was calm tonight and the air was cool but comfortable. She smiled, enjoying her new sense of peace.
