Dirk, being the mature, older young man that he was, generally tended to just ignore the Slytherins as best he could. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't, but since he'd started turning the other cheek in fourth year he'd been involved in a lot less fights. Today, however, Dirk was in no mood to be called a mudblood. If Wilkes thought he was going to get away with taunting him, he had another thing coming.
