As they rose to leave, the girl picked up the neglected book from the table and placed it atop the one she was holding. Being the bookish sort, she had a soft spot for tomes and didn't want to see one left out on its own, defenseless no less.
"I'll Owl this to her later on. She'll probably want it back when she's had a moment to think over a few things." She fell quiet again as they walked out of the Great Hall, past the curious glances of the other students, and the girl couldn't help but blush. She wondered if they'll be known amongst their peers these days as the ones who got Lily Evans all flustered up.
"For what it's worth though, you're not mental, James. You're not a bad person to begin with. You're...well, I don't really know how to describe you, but everything will hall into place in time, James. You'll see."
