Who: Pansy & Theodore
What: A blind date set up by their wonderful families.
Where: The Promenade, Dorchester Hotel
When: Sunday evening, 19th of October.
Status: In Progress.
Pansy sat at the elegant table in a secluded corner of the Promenade and tried not to look as unhappy as she felt. Here she was yet again, waiting for a blind date that her parent's had set up. Though she insisted over and over again that she wasn't there's to offer up the best candidate, they still insisted on setting her up on these ridiculous dates. And the worst part was that as much as she wanted to resist them and say no, a part of her still wanted to please them, something that she had never truly managed to do, even though she was their only child.
At least, she thought while glancing around the elegant restaurant, they chose an beautiful restaurant for us to meet at. Pansy had been to the Promenade several times before and thought it wholeheartedly deserved it's five star rating. She had even dressed to fit, in an elegant black Versace dress with one of her favourite pairs of Jimmy Choos. Even so, as she crossed her legs demurely beneath the table, she couldn't help but wonder who her "blind date" was and why he'd not arrived before her, as was considered proper in her mind.
Mother and Father better not have sent me up with Montague, or Flint, or I swear this will be the last time I agree to go out on one of these idiotic arrangements.
