Yes, I want to play. Obviously. I've been nagging Tereesa as discreetly as I can for a bit now since she is the only one I currently have threads with.
I have plans to keep them all right now, actually. Sweeney has so many years invested in him over different servers and games that I just miss him too much when I'm not playing him. Crowley is much the same, actually. Though, having met Ioan now, he's too darn nice to pb Crowley. :( Thanks, Ioan. Way to ruin Crowley. lol :P And Jack. Oh, oh Jack. Since there is a reunion in the works, even if I could bring myself to drop him, I would regret it minutes later. They've pulled the old set out of storage. It's all hush-hush, but something is in the works.
I had a Pamela Isley app about 2/3 finished, even had her pb picked out finally, when people started disappearing on me again. I kind of really want to bring in Pammy. But... if there isn't interest in playing, I'm not going to finish it. But, that would give some of the other ladies someone to play with (Harley!!!). I also have been toying with someone from Doctor Who (not one of the Doctors, though), to give River something to work with. Suggestions there are very welcome.
I have a couple, actually. I thought of adding some variety to our posts in the main comm to encourage some rapid fire activity that doesn't require exposition or extra off-shoot communities... but still keeps things sort of going forward. Since there is obviously technology on the island... what about emails between characters? Or text messages? But they have to be in the main comm, but use the subject line of the post to differentiate what the post is going to be? Something like:
[Email: recipient] --whatever email subject would be]
or
[Text Msg: list recipient/s]
in the post subject. Does that make sense?
And while I know we'd like more players, people tend to scan communities for activity before playing, so the more activity on the main comm, the more likely it is to attract people. The advertisement communities out there are terrible right now, and while I've been tempted to start one just for the purpose of people to advertise establish (hung on for longer than a year) games, I dunno at the moment.
