She didn't bother to mention that she had been fishing since she was old enough to hold her own pole, but such details weren't necessary. He might think her lying, especially since she had yet to catch a single fish. Mandie knew to be patient, that fishing was meant as a long stride and not a quick burst. The man introduced himself and she held out her hand, doing the same. "Mandie. I'm from Georgia." She didn't know why she kept saying that. Like that would explain everything about her.
