Emmett casually glanced down at his watch, the one given to him by the woman standing in front of him. It had only been about an hour since the landing. "They should at least know we're missing by now, yeah. Let's give 'em some more time to figure out what happened before we get worried about not being found. First they've got to know we're missing, then they have to figure out the search radius and follow through." He couldn't help himself; Emmett reached out to touch her cheek. "They'll find us, Caitie."
He nodded, wanting to have more than that little touch, but letting his hand fall down to his side anyway. "Yeah. Let's do that, a nice, big one. We've probably got some people in shock who could use something like that, too. Maybe get some of the luggage out of the hold, too, and put people at ease that way."
Emmett hesitated. He wanted to focus more on just the two of them, but there was a group to worry about. It wasn't in his nature to ignore the needs of the many, but he wished that it was. "You sure you don't need another minute? Anything I can get you to steady your nerves before we get back into official business?"
