Irreparable RPG OOC

Most of you know that I've been scarce because I'm 2nd billed in a film that's shooting right now. I have good news! I have 24 hours of filming ahead of me before Monday, but after that I'm off the schedule until May 8!!!

So throw plots, threads, etc at me and I'll see what I can get to Monday evening and onward!

I should be back by Monday, provided my empty sockets in my jaw don't get infected and fall out. No dry socket, or whatever.

I have an apology to make to everyone (especially to Jackie, Seamus' mun!)... I just disappeared and didn't post/email any notice. I've had two shift changes over the last few weeks and I've been adjusting. I haven't even opened my mails and it's just now that I'm able to go online. ^^; Sorry! With the time difference I have with most... Gah. Give me over the weekend the get updated and I'll be back to posting. Or please feel free to update me here. Two part notice here!

1. I am going to be taking a trip to China from the 21st of March to the 31st of March. I don't trust how I'll have internet there (and they're infamous for blocking the internet) so I'm just going to say I won't be online at all.

2. I'm part of a Facebook/website RP thinger called 'Magic is Might' Which can be found on here and here. We're going to be recreating the last 8 months of the war in (semi) real time. It's bound to be awesome and I'd love you guys forever if you liked the MiM pages and commented and such.

I have a virus so bad that I cannot even open the CTRL ALT DEL menu. My one Spyware Program that doesn't immediately close when I open it thinks I only have tracking cookies and I cannot even OPEN Firefox or ANYTHING.

I had a bunch of threads open in Firefox when it struck, so even though my husband's Mac is impervious to viruses, any threads I have no tagged to are lost because I probably deleted the notifications and won't be able to get to firefox to recover those windows where I was working on them.

If I owe you a tag, link here, please, so I can try to reply via Mac.

Right now I'm going to cry and pour a glass of Jack and Coke and wonder why I was foolish enough to email a Nigerian curse to those scammers Christmas 09 (I keep getting Rogues and website hacks, FAR more than normal).

Hi, I'm Lindsay and I'm going to be playing Rose Zeller. She was a Hufflepuff at Hogwarts, finishing school in 2002. Her parents were killed by Death Eaters, leaving her an orphan when she was pretty young. She lived with a friend during the summers (friend up for grabs!) and after finishing school she moved to Paris, trying to hide from her problems. Now, she's back in London, living in a small flat while she works as a waitress at the Leaky Cauldron. Rose is also a musician, a classically trained pianist and a singer - she's trying to break into the business, but has thusfar been unsuccessful.

This morning, Oliver officially reported Verity missing to the Ministry of Magic. By the evening's post, it's safe to say, word has leaked. Margaret and the Ashfords have all stated they are 'Unavailable for comment due to the open investigations.' Less PC, Oliver's told people to 'Sod off'; his agent Mr. Schlubb is now the only press contact available for the entire family on the matter.

Verity made it to the WWW yesterday, but didn't come home last night.

Trying again. This is Jackie with Seamus Finnigan. Add him, adore him, etc.

His info is on his profile and in his journal. He's... Seamus Finnigan. What is there to say? The info explains most of it. As far as backstory goes, I know a bit of the basics. I'm ignoring the Pansy crush/etc stuff. He sold his bar (for a nice profit) and now works as a bartender at The Leaky Cauldron most weeknights/weekends and at the Three Broomsticks Inn on Hogwarts' Hogsmeade weekends to provide extra help. If there's any other (game) backstory I don't know with Seamus, feel free to let me know and we can talk what to do with it.

Otherwise, I'd love to make futurestory with him! Plot, friendships (Dean aside - Dean is automatically stuck with Seamus), acquaintances, etc would be appreciated.

Hi there! I'm Pads and I bring to you Padma Patil. :)

Currently, she's a Healer at St. Mungo's, doing more on the simple healing spells, etc. and as an aside, she's working with the hospital's apothecary, brewing potions and whatnots that the hospital uses. She's like the assistant of the experienced Healers there.

Personality-wise, she's quite friendly, but she does tend to look like a snob as she does have a habit of looking up and down a person, especially if introduced for the first time. She's fiercely loyal and she loves her sister to death. She doesn't care too much about her appearance but she does care that she looks presentable. She fears she'd end up alone and take care of her sister's kids as no one's really taken the time to get to know her to get involved romantically. Woe. She's also a bit inquisitive, especially to a dear friend's personal life if she feels that friend needs some advice of whatnot. However, she herself is a private person and if you're not close to her and you start asking questions she deems inappropriate, expect the snarkiness.

Aside from that... She'd at least be on friendly terms to former DA members and colleagues at St. Mungo's, those from Ravenclaw... Um, let's see what else we can plot about. I'm open to anything.

There was a plot idea that came to my attention (cough*Jackie*cough) about a couple of characters starting up a new printed medium to rival the Prophet. Kaitee, Jackie and I brainstormed a little about possibilities for openings for new characters, and that if something like this were to happen, that it could be used as an advertising tool to bring new players into Irreparable, so they could have insta-plot.

I'd love to help instigate something like this, as I really do think it'd bring some new excitement to the game and new things for the characters to all talk about. There could be interviews with Quidditch players, reviews of businesses and products, all sorts of things.

Does anyone have ideas? Thoughts?

Allow me to introduce Jack Sloper. Jack is a year below the Potter trio and a Gryffindor. He was the beater that managed to hit himself with his own bat. The slowness, however, predates that head injury. Jack barely made it through Hogwarts. He's sweet and attractive and charismatic but Good Lord he is dumb. He's a good guy, but if you're looking for deep conversation, look elsewhere.

Jack has a small son by Demelza Robins (who ended their relationship because it was really shallow) and has a tendency to be picked up by cougars. She has custody, so we'll only get occasional visits from little Brody. He works at Quality Quidditch Supplies, has a step-mother who hates him (because he's a product of an affair) and an older half-sister. And his mother is a whole new level of dumb, so I may have to have cameos from her.

This is Jack. Plot? Friends? Backstory?

I was gone for like, 4/5 days... and now I'm back. ^^ Didja miss me?

Lemme know what I missed, or if you want my pups for anything. Stoked about the Valentine's Day plot. I'd love to get more going for my kiddoes, especially Stephen and Kherrie!
