Allow me to introduce Jack Sloper. Jack is a year below the Potter trio and a Gryffindor. He was the beater that managed to hit himself with his own bat. The slowness, however, predates that head injury. Jack barely made it through Hogwarts. He's sweet and attractive and charismatic but Good Lord he is dumb. He's a good guy, but if you're looking for deep conversation, look elsewhere.
Jack has a small son by Demelza Robins (who ended their relationship because it was really shallow) and has a tendency to be picked up by cougars. She has custody, so we'll only get occasional visits from little Brody. He works at Quality Quidditch Supplies, has a step-mother who hates him (because he's a product of an affair) and an older half-sister. And his mother is a whole new level of dumb, so I may have to have cameos from her.
