Who: Kherrie and Anthony
When: After her counseling session, Tuesday afternoon
Where: Cafe
What: Chatting it up!
Kherrington Bundy was relieved to be finished with the counselor. It was a long hour, full of crying and breaking, and things starting to mend. She was incredibly thankful that Anthony "dragged" her, and even more thankful that he was there to meet her after her session. For some reason, there was something about Anthony that made her trust him. He was just so... kind. And helpful. And without him, she wouldn't be here. She wouldn't be starting the healing process.
She'd been quiet the whole time they'd seen each other. When Anthony met each other to go to the counselor, she hadn't said much. She explained to him that she was nervous, and that she had no idea what to expect. But other than that, she hadn't said much to him before heading into the counselor's office. On the way in she looked pale and nervous, sickly almost. On the way out, on the other hand...
Kherrie was smiling. There was a bit of pink in her cheeks and around her eyes, and there were definitely signs that she'd been crying. She was puffy-faced, with tear trails still down her cheeks. But the smile was good. The counselor had actually had a lot of nice things to say, and she appreciated it. It was worth the galleons. And she'd be back.
The two headed out, and as a thank-you, Kherrie insisted upon buying Anthony a cup of tea (or coffee, if he'd prefer). There was a cafe in close proximity to the counselor's office. It looked comfortable and relatively quiet, so they could talk. Kherrie led the way in and to the counter so they could order, then to a table booth on the side of the cafe to sit down and wait for their drinks to be brought out to them.
