Hermione did, indeed, lean up and in and tap a kiss to his forehead. Then she had to lift a handkerchief to wipe the soot away from both his face and her mouth.
And a little laugh escaped her at the sound of his attempt at Spanish. She shook her head a little, grinning at how silly her husband was. "It was beautiful, Ginny. I brought you presents!" She pulled a large bag from inside her purse (so large it shouldn't have fit inside) and held it out for Ginny and Harry. Inside were a mother/baby poncho for Ginny and James, a sombrero for Harry, a set of Maracas for James, and a purse for Ginny. She hoped they'd like them.
