Who: Miles, Adrian and Pansy Where: Shine When: Evening, May 25 What: Good clean fun. Or not. Rating: PG-13, at least, seeing it's Miles and Adrian
The problem with being perfect - or at least striving to be - was that there was no room for error. Perfection wasn't perfection with even the smallest mar, and Pansy was already tainted by her father's incarceration and her mother's ongoing potions addiction. Under the circumstances, her position was extremely precarious, which meant she had to behave herself with perfect decorum (like not getting drunk at an Irish pub, oops) lest any sort of scandal get attached to her and scare off potential husbands. The problem was that being perfect got really boring.
That was where Miles Bletchley and Adrian Pucey came in. They were bad influences, the both of them. Horrible influences. Womanising, potty-mouthed, careless, reckless influences, and they were exactly what she needed. They could attempt to corrupt her, she could act appropriately shocked and scandalised, and no one would think anything of it, because that was what they did. And if they managed to tempt her into doing something just a little naughty, well, it wasn't really her fault, was it? They were just that convincing. And in turn, they got to amuse themselves with trying to tempt her to the dark side. All in all, it worked out for everyone, and it was quite a bit of fun. Merlin knew Pansy needed a bit of fun at the moment. Besides, it never hurt to be seen in the company of two famous quidditch players, so it was with great anticipation that Pansy went to her favourite lounge to meet the boys.
