As much as he cared for Ron and Hermione and wished them both the best in their happy marriage, Percy couldn't keep asking himself throughout the day, Who gets married on a Monday? Why hold it in a pub? He had to take the day off from the office to attend, and he could think of a dozen places that were better to have the wedding, including the Burrow or even outdoors in a public garden. Even so, the only person who he voiced his complaints about was Daphne, whose apartment he stayed overnight.
Still, it was a nice ceremony, and the place, though not his taste, was decorated sweetly. He supposed neither Ron nor Hermione were the type to put on airs and graces and that he should be grateful they were getting married at all.
