Ginny hadn't had a lot of experience with weddings despite having a large family and an even bigger extended family for which to draw experience from. The most knowledge she had was directly from helping organise Bill and Fleur's wedding, something which had given her enough insight to know what not to do when she eventually got married herself.
The point was that Ron and Hermione had seemed to taken the same concept and applied it to themselves with the simple ceremony and reception that currently was going on. In light of that attitude she had dressed in a simple blue dress, and silver heels while keeping her hair down and in the slight natural curl she had when she didn't touch it with charms.
While other people roamed the room, greeted each other, and helped themselves to food Ginny sat alone at one of the tables and slowly munched on some of the vegetables that had been on the table while holding a glass of water in her free hand and once again wishing champange was an option to drink. It just seemed wrong somehow to celebrate your brothers wedding with water and carrot sticks, but it was what she would be doing - at least until an opportunity came up to tease Ron about his stag party and the wedding night.
She had just taken another bite of a carrot when something much more appealing materialized in front of her, covered in red and gold icing worthy of a Gryffindor. "I bloody love you." she announced with a bright grin.
