Ron had been ready to argue her points, foaming at the mouth to get out his counter-points and comebacks but while his remark about shagging was a miss, her last comment had hit it’s mark right on the head. His body stiffened all over again at her grin and his eyes narrowed into slits, trying to mentally burn a hole in the girl across from him. He gave two hard breaths through his nose (his manner of blowing out steam) before standing up quickly.
“Sod it, then.” His voice was quieter but than his last outburst ()not by much) but more so hot and severe, anger wrapping around every word that came out in a tremble. “Ya` got everything so figured out, it’s just a waste of breath to even keep on. You make your mistakes, you ruin your life. Whatever. I don’t care anymore.”
His steps were measured and fast, his legs inspired with a need to get as far from Ginny as he could. He’d apparate if he wasn’t so stressed out that it could mean splinching something off. The redhead forced his way out of the room past his father, moving through the kitchen and then out into the yard. He refused to turn around at the sound of his name being called and he was far too angry to pin the voice to a name. Slamming the gate open, he continued to walk with his fists tight at his side and his gaze set straight ahead.
