Percy was curious about what Ginny's special secret was, but at the same time, he wasn't too thrilled about having to spend another evening at another family gathering. Ah, but mum's home cooked meals made up for the temporary inconvenience of having to associate with his brothers, again.
Ginny was special in his book, not only for being his only sister, but for being the only person who seemed to take a regular interest in what he was doing in his life, at least that was how Percy felt. Like his mum, he hoped the announcement would have something to do with matrimony, but when the vial of blue liquid emerged, Percy stared, recognizing it for what it was.
The announcement was made, and Percy looked from the bottle to Ginny, and then to Harry. His eyes opened wide with the surprise of it, though upon reflection, it shouldn't have been so surprising. Genuinely pleased, Percy smiled and told the happy parents, "Well then! Congratulations are in order!"
