For whatever reason, Molly Weasley had taken her position next to Audrey on several occasions. She'd somehow managed to slip into a chair next to Audrey's at dinner, and asked her countless questions about the bakery, and her family... poor Audrey felt like she'd gone through her entire life story over the course of a short meal. And when she'd had big gaps in her memory, Molly had been understanding. The only thing that made her feel more secure was the feel of George's hand in her own under the table, or resting on her knee or over the back of the chair. She was friends with Ginny and with Hermione, and she was starting to get to know Penny, too, but it all felt a little overwhelming. Especially as she met Bill, Fleur and their daughter Victoire for the first time tonight.
After dinner, Audrey made sure to position herself against the arm of the sofa, and tugged George into the seat next to hers. She didn't want to get pinned by Mrs. Weasley again, though she almost felt like the woman was warming up to her a bit. And, of course, Audrey was very fond of Mrs. Weasley--as everyone was, or very well should be. But Audrey was really nervous she was going to say the wrong thing. So she cuddled up against George's side, took his hand in both of her own, and thanked her lucky stars when Hermione settled onto the arm of the sofa next to her.
Ginny's announcement came as a surprise. She blinked, watching the redhead and curious as to what the rest of the family's reactions were going to be.
