Charlie didn't pull his hands away from her backside either. He should have, because he a moment later he heard an all too familiar throat clearing and he couldn't tell, without two working ears, where it came from. His hands flew away from Penny's backside and he looked around. His eyes fell on his mother in the doorway with coffee for her and for Penny.
"Mum," he said. "Good to see you."
She gave him a look, a look that said that he was going to get a talk later.
