"Mum stop badgering Verity!" Ginny said as she entered the kitchen on her own two feet which produced the desired effect of Molly Weasley forgetting all about Verity to shriek at her only daughter being able to walk into a room after weeks of being carried around. Of course, Ginny wasn't able to go very far or stand for very long but she was determined to do what she could because she was bloody sick of being a human ragdoll.
Sinking into one of the kitchen chairs she gave Verity a smile while her mum fussed over her for a few minutes, only distracted by the sound of four feet banging down the stairs, followed shortly by laughter and yelling as Victoire turned the corner with Teddy on her hells, sporting big green ears and a tail and making roaring sounds.
That was enough to send her mum off in a different direction to hopefully herd the two of them outside to play so nothing would get broken (as if it couldn't be repaired by magic, but Ginny knew better than to argue or point that out to her mum). And once she was gone Ginny turned her attention to the blonde. "Hi Verity! How are you?" she asked with a grin.
