Molly Weasley always made such a fuss over Verity Ashford. Perhaps it was that she was in awe of someone who could put up with Fred and George (now just George) or perhaps it was her parentage. Either way, she treated the girl a little differently than her other friends' parents. Verity was often found cornered in the kitchen or the living room saying things like 'yes, I'll tell her you said that,' or 'no, everything's fine at the shop.' Molly always seemed to have a thousand questions for the poor girl, and she could do nothing but obediently answer them all.
She thought, watching Charlie, Penny and Angelina go in through the front door, that she'd go around back and avoid Mrs. Weasley at first... so that she could have time to sneak in and see George before getting cornered. But Mrs. Weasley was in the kitchen when she stepped in, and so she was caught answering questions about her Mum and Dad, and the shop. She just couldn't say no to Mrs. Weasley. And then Molly asked her something about Audrey. Verity was about to respond when someone else came into the kitchen, and she turned around with a 'please help me' kind of a look.
