Angelina had been standing back from the doorstep, debating going in. She didn't want to make things awkward for George. There was still uncertainty and she didn't need to be here as a reminder, or be present where his girlfriend could judge her. She should go home.
Of course Charlie didn't know about all of the awkwardness, so when he saw Angelina standing around in his mum's front yard he sneaked up behind her, roared, threw her over his shoulder, and burst through the front door. "Look what I found in the front yard!" he shouted. "It's an American!"
