His homecoming had been relatively quiet, or as quiet as things can be for the Weasleys. His mum and dad came to get him, successfully making him feel 12 again. There was quite a bit of crying before the three of them flooed back to the Burrow. The rest of the day was spent reading, fiddling with the Rubix cube Angelina had sent her and waiting for Audrey.
It had only dawned on him after the owls stopped coming that she'd realized that it would be the first time Audrey would be meeting his mum. He knew his mum was rather intimidating and she was more then critical of people her sons were seeing, remembering how much she disliked Fleur in the beginning. He didn't even know how serious they were, they'd been seeing each other for a while but they were only really dating for a very short time. Fleur and Bill had been engaged when they first really met her outside the tournament, though everyone knew they were an item. George didn't even know if his mum was aware he had a girlfriend. He resigned himself to the fact that he could only hope that she could hold her own.
George put down the multicolored cube when he heard the sound of the floo to his right. He couldn't help but smile seeing her coming though the door. "What's with you and being covered in Floo powder?" He crossed to meet her in front of the fireplace, pressing a light kiss on her lips. "Hey you."
