Percy's back was to the door, so he didn't notice the Healer outside Penny's room, nor did he recognize the nervousness as something stemming from the dreaded anticipation of taking another potion. "We'll see," Percy said, unsure about having Penny there, not because of the awkwardness of their relationship, but because it seemed much too soon for her to be returning to work after such a traumatic experience. "Hopefully my Department won't have many problems with the Russian Wizarding Embassy over this fiasco. The Death Eater needs to be caught, first."
A short pause, and then Percy suddenly said, "You know...", as if he was beginning to tell her something, but seeing her lying in the hospital bed caused him to censor himself - this was not a good time to be bringing this up, if ever. Slipping his hands into the pockets of his robes, his shoulders sagged and continued, "I'll keep in touch with you about the translation," though it was obvious that this wasn't what Percy had wanted to say.
